My English family

Part of the experience of traveling to England was to share house with an English host family.

The family I stayed with was the Matu family, my family consisted of Asha or Ash as she asked us to call her, she is a really nice person, she is used to have foreign students over so she is always worrying about their well being, she is also a great cook and for dinner she had something special and different to eat, while we were eating she would sit with us and ask us how was our day or tell us many things that we could do or visit during our stay in Hasting, she would also ask us about our country, our traditions, our food, how we live, how our school was, about our friends and family, the differences between our lifestyle in Colombia and England, she is a really curious person and she is willing to learn about the country we come from, she even was really excited about someday visiting Colombia.

Then was Sabrina, she is fourteen and she is nothing close to a "normal" fourteen year old girl would be, like no other girl that I know she loves heavy metal and her favorite band in the world is Korn, she doesn't really care about what you call fashion, she dresses like a heavy metal lover does, but her love for that kind of music doesn't define who she is, behind that though surface there is a really kind, sweet girl, I loved to spend time talking with her about her likes, her interests, what she would like to be when she gets older and many other things and I found that we had many thing in common, some nights we would sit in the living room to watch TV and one day she took us to know Hasting´s biggest park: Alexandra Park.

And how can I forget about the little puppy, she was a little white soft, floppy dog, and she is also the most spoil dog I known, she had like thousands of jumpers and toys, but still she was really polite and cute.
